Job Description

A leading UK law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor at junior to mid-level PQE to join its highly regarded Disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value matters for a broad client base including corporates, financial institutions, SMEs, and public sector bodies.

The Role

You will advise on a wide range of commercial disputes across multiple sectors, working closely with partners and senior lawyers on significant matters, including:

  • Contractual disputes
  • Shareholder and partnership disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Banking and financial services litigation
  • Fraud and asset recovery matters
  • Injunctive relief applications
  • Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration
  • High Court and appellate litigation

You will gain increasing responsibility for managing cases, drafting key documents, and building strong client relationships.

About You

This role will suit the following person and profile:

  • Solicitor with 2-7 years PQE with a proportion of this in Commercial Litigation
  • Strong experience in contentious matters and civil procedure
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach.
  • Dual qualification is an advantage.
