Job Description
A leading law firm is keen to hire a talented Corporate Solicitor (c. 1–5 years’ PQE) to join its dynamic and growing Corporate team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-quality transactions for a broad client base, including private and public companies, investors, and entrepreneurs.
You will advise on a wide range of corporate matters, working closely with senior lawyers and partners on complex transactions, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions (private and public)
- Private equity and venture capital investments
- Corporate reorganisations and restructurings
- Shareholder agreements and joint ventures
- General company law and governance matters
- Due diligence and transaction management
You will gain early responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to develop your technical and commercial skills within a supportive team. The firm is keen on continuous development and offer a strong learning culture. This may suit a solicitor who has corporate experience but is keen to explore this as a niche.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in NI with 1–5 years’ PQE in Corporate law
- Strong academic background and training from a reputable firm
- Experience assisting on M&A and/or investment transactions
- Excellent drafting, organisational, and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in private equity and/or venture capital work is a big advantage
- Dual qualification or exposure to cross-border transactions is beneficial
- Interest in business development and client relationship building.
