Senior Instructor - Nethy Bridge
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Senior Instructor for its Nethy Bridge centre. This is a full-time, permanent, live-in role based in Inverness-shire, Scotland. The successful candidate will assist the Chief Instructor, lead outdoor activities, and contribute to the spiritual and adventure programme. Applicants must be committed Christians with relevant outdoor leadership qualifications.
Role Overview
- Assist the Chief Instructor and deputise in their absence.
- Instruct resident groups in outdoor activities.
- Handle administrative tasks for the department.
- Develop new and existing activities.
- Contribute to John Muir Award and DofE programmes.
- Maintain continuity of the Centre's spiritual programme.
- Ensure safe procedures in activity programmes and provide in-house training.
- Oversee instructor logbooks and equipment maintenance.
- Keep up-to-date with outdoor education developments.

- MTUK Rock Climbing Instructor
- BCAB Paddlesport Leader
- MTUK Hill and Moorland Leader
- BC MTB Leader Level 2
- BASI Level 1
- RYA Dinghy Instructor
- D1 driving licence (desirable)

- SSS Alpine L2
- RCDI
- Winter ML
- MTBL L3
- Paddlesports Coach (Moderate Water)
- RYA Dinghy SI
- Duke of Edinburgh Assessor
