We are offering a £3000 annual market supplement for this role! The Children with Disabilities Team works with disabled children and their families from assessment through long-term planning.

About the Role

  • Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and their families
  • Developing individualised plans and chairing meetings
  • Using interventions to engage children and families
  • Contributing to projects and supporting students
  • Being a link person for a local specialist school

About You

  • Degree-level education with relevant social work qualification
  • Active Social Work England registration
  • Understanding of child development and adapting to disabled children
  • Experience with abuse/neglect cases
  • Knowledge of legislation (Children Act) and policy
  • Record keeping and report writing skills
