Job Description
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Recreation Craftsperson to join [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] within the Forest of Dean. This role supports the upkeep and maintenance of busy visitor sites, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and welcoming.
Key Duties
- Carry out litter picking, bin emptying, and general site upkeep.
- Complete minor repairs including signage, fencing, and play areas.
- Open sites and support site security.
- Assist with day-to-day operations across visitor areas.
- Maintain facilities such as toilets and car parks.
- Provide information and assistance to visitors.
- Respond to incidents and support site safety.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Practical approach with an interest in outdoor work.
- Good awareness of health and safety.
- Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work a rota including weekends and bank holidays.
