Knowledge, skills, and experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Bachelor of Education
  • A teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS/Teaching licence/certification or equivalent)
  • 2 or more years of post qualifying experience teaching Lower school/KS1 Art is preferred
  • Strong IT skills, preferably with Apple products
  • Demonstrate consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct.
  • Significant experience and willingness to integrate technology to improve teaching and learning
  • Experience of teaching in an international school is desirable but not essential
  • Professional level of verbal and written English
  • Reside in the UK as sponsorship is not possible for this opportunity.

  • Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons, adapting teaching to meet the strengths and needs of all learners
  • Promote strong student progress and outcomes through effective assessment and timely, meaningful feedback
  • Demonstrate secure subject knowledge and a clear understanding of the curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share high-quality teaching and learning resources for students at different stages and abilities
  • Foster a genuine love of learning and intellectual curiosity in students
  • Provide targeted support for students requiring additional help, working closely with support staff, to meet specific learning needs
  • Engage fully in professional development, remain up to date with requirements, and contribute to the Pastoral Care programme by supporting students’ day-to-day wellbeing, identifying concerns and working with the pastoral team and parents/carers as required
  • Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme
  • Undertake other duties as required to support the smooth and effective running of the school.
