Paralegal Team Leader

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Paralegal Team Leader to join their Real Estate sub-team within the Transaction Services Team. The role involves operational management, line management, and team growth. Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow. Salary: Competitive.

Duties

  • Work Allocation and Operational Management: allocate resource, manage capacity, ensure quality, develop processes.
  • Line Management: lead a team of Apprentices, Paralegals, Senior Paralegals; manage performance, provide coaching.
  • Team Growth: develop aligned groups, promote the TST, identify new business opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Real Estate legal work or supervision/people management.
  • Understanding of Land Registry and SDLT processes (desirable but willing to learn).
  • Understanding of Registers of Scotland and LBTT processes (desirable but willing to learn).
  • Experience defining work processes and best practices (desirable).
  • Skills to manage and motivate a small team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage complex and changing workloads.
  • Strong team orientation and attention to detail.
