Salary: £27,000-29,500 a year plus benefits

Location: University of Wolverhampton at The Halls, Wolverhampton

Appointment Type: Permanent

Closing Date: 13 May 2026

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours, 5 days out of 7, including weekends and evenings as required

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a Ticketing and Administration Assistant to support the smooth running of our live events programme. This role plays an important part in delivering excellent ticketing, customer service and administrative support across the business.

What you'll do

  • Ticketing & sales support: Support day‑to‑day ticketing activity, including presales, on‑sales and allocations; produce settlements and ensure accurate reporting, reconciliation and accountability.
  • Customer service & accessibility: Provide a high standard of customer service before events and on show days; respond to accessibility queries and stay up to date with best practice, including Attitude Is Everything standards.
  • Administration & coordination: Support general administration, including meeting coordination, agendas, minutes and action tracking; create and issue contracts and deposit invoices for events.
  • Systems & information management: Maintain shared filing systems and documents using SharePoint and Excel; send show confirmations and ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Collaboration & problem solving: Attend meetings to share updates on sales, customer feedback and issues; take a practical, solution‑focused approach to resolving ticketing queries.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working in a box office or ticketing environment within live entertainment
  • Confidence working in a fast‑paced, changing environment
  • Strong numerical skills with attention to detail in reporting
  • An understanding of how ticketing can support commercial performance
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • A flexible and committed approach to working hours, including events and weekends

Where you'll work

You'll be based at the venue in Wolverhampton. You will need to be available to work 5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends. We offer flexible start and end times and welcome flexible working conversations.
