Location: British Airways ARC, London (venue in Olympia, West London)
Pay Rate: £14.80 an hour plus holiday pay and benefits
Appointment Type: Zero Hours (Part-time, event-based)

About the Role
We're looking for calm, efficient, and customer-focused Front of House Assistants who thrive in busy, guest-facing environments. You'll be confident handling high volumes of service while remaining empathetic, professional, and proactive when customer issues arise. As part of our Front of House team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our bars while delivering an outstanding experience for every guest.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests warmly and take orders promptly and politely
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Support the resolution of customer queries or issues, escalating where appropriate
- Operate the POS till system confidently and accurately
- Manage card payments correctly and efficiently during busy periods
- Support stock management during service, reporting low stock when needed
- Minimise waste through effective and considered service practices
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across the bar
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Work flexibly across other areas such as Self-Service Bars, Merchandise, or Cloakroom when required
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol at all times
- Check customer identification and comply with licensing laws, including Think 25
- Adhere to all alcohol licensing and venue policies
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a bar or hospitality setting in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence using a POS till system and understanding card payments
- A calm, professional approach and the ability to perform well under pressure
- Strong customer service skills with empathy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of drinks, cocktails, and bar equipment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Additional Information
Working hours: This is a shift-based role working evenings and weekends, normally from 5pm to 11pm, though some shifts can finish later and there are occasionally shifts during the day. You give your availability for the shifts you can work one month in advance. Once the monthly rota is confirmed you are expected to work those shifts. We ask that you are able to work regularly due to the nature of the role.
Key Dates: Assessment centres: 11 and 13 May 2026. Inductions: 26 and 27 May from 4-6pm (one required). Training: Monday 1 and Tuesday 2 June - mandatory. Shifts start from 3 June.
