About the Role

As AI & Cloud Principal Engineer, you will help shape the future of data, AI, and cloud platforms at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. Working within the Data & Analytics Platforms (DAP) team, you will contribute to the evolution of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Data Platform (ADP)—a strategic platform enabling Data, Machine Learning, and Generative & Agentic AI use cases at scale across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Operating Entities worldwide.

In this senior expert role, you will design and implement advanced platform capabilities, advise local teams on best usage, and influence architectural decisions that enable secure, scalable, and value‑driven AI adoption. You will operate at the intersection of technology strategy, platform engineering, and business impact in a complex, global environment.

What You Do

  • Act as a technical thought leader for AI (ML, LLM, Agentic AI) and Data Platform capabilities across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
  • Design, build, and evolve enterprise‑grade AI and cloud architectures supporting large‑scale data, ML, and AI workloads.
  • Shape and enhance the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Data Platform (ADP), including data, ML, and GenAI platform services.
  • Advise local implementation teams on best‑practice usage of platform capabilities for efficient and scalable use cases.
  • Evaluate and onboard cloud providers and third‑party services for compute, storage, and AI/LLM capabilities.
  • Define and maintain standards, operating procedures, and architectural guidelines for cloud and AI platforms.
  • Stay ahead of AI and cloud technology trends and translate them into practical, value‑driven platform improvements.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, data privacy, governance, and compliance standards in a regulated environment.

What You Bring

  • Deep expertise in AI technologies (ML, LLMs, Agentic AI), including architecture, algorithms, and enterprise use cases.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, OCI) and modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks).
  • Proven ability to design scalable, resilient enterprise architectures integrating AI into existing systems.
  • Experience with cloud migration, data management, security, and privacy best practices.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to operate in complex, fast‑paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working across teams and countries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Architect, AI Engineer, or similar senior technical role.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure, AWS) are highly desirable.
  • Fluent English is required.
