About the Role

We are partnering with a well-established events business delivering high-quality experiences, to recruit a proactive Finance Manager to support with expansion. This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, event finance, and operational support, making it well-suited to someone looking to develop their career in a dynamic environment. You will contribute to the accuracy of financial information, support key processes such as month-end, and work closely with operational teams to ensure financial performance is effectively monitored.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journals, including accruals, prepayments, and revenue recognition
  • Support month-end close and assist in the production of management accounts, including variance analysis
  • Manage event billing and monitor costs against budgets, liaising with operational teams
  • Oversee credit control, including monitoring receivables and supporting cash flow forecasting
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing process improvements
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support audit and compliance activities

Candidate Profile

  • Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) or actively studying
  • Strong understanding of core accounting principles
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced or project-based environment is desirable
  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting systems
  • Strong attention to detail with good analytical skills
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
