Lecturer in Equine

About the Role

You will contribute as part of a dynamic team delivering to a growing number of Further Education students across a range of equine courses. Duties include teaching theory, practical and riding sessions. Ideally, you will have in-depth knowledge in various aspects of horse management, including equine health, nutrition and competition grooming. Experience in an Equestrian competition yard is advantageous.

Requirements

  • Experience of lecturing
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent to level 2
  • Vocational qualification at NVQ level 4 or equivalent
  • Appropriate endorsed Teaching Qualification (or willingness to commence studies within 1 year of employment)
  • Qualified to teach riding (advantageous)
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge in equine studies
