Responsibilities
- Routine Inspection, Testing, and Servicing: Clean, check, and service all hire equipment (Chillers, Boilers, Dehumidifiers, etc.) upon commissioning and after every hire to ensure safety and presentation.
- Breakdowns and Repairs: Identify equipment requiring repair, assess viability, and complete work to high safety standards.
- Safety, Quality, and Environment (SHEQ): Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations, manage hazardous materials (e.g., waste oil), and report accidents or near misses.
- Customer Service Standards: Communicate professionally with internal and external customers, building trust through honest service and resolving problems promptly.
- Asset and Premises Management: Maintain a clean and tidy workshop, ensure service vehicles are in good condition, and account for all tools and stock.
- Records and Reports: Maintain accurate documentation regarding plant servicing, calibration, and repair work.
- General Support: Attend training, participate in meetings, work outside normal hours when necessary, and travel within the UK (including overnight stays) to support the business.
