You will join a team of 5 as [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] enters the 'scale-up' phase. You will act as a business partner and strategic adviser to the Executive team, in particular the CTO, providing commercial insight through impactful analysis. You will report into the Head of Commercial Finance.

You will:

  • Partner with our CTO and their leadership team, along with additional departments aligned with Technology
  • Proactively highlight opportunities for efficiency, evaluating value for money across all cost lines
  • Seek continuous improvement in reporting, finding areas for automation and self-serve dashboards in Looker
  • Own the annual budget and monthly reporting against budget
  • Forecast headcount spend in partnership with department heads to drive hiring decisions
  • Forecast vendor level spend, track renewal dates and run supplier negotiations
  • Prepare models for business cases, projecting costs and impact for new products, suppliers and operations

About you:

  • Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience including 3+ years as a Finance Business Partner
  • Experience in financial services or technology industries
  • Experience business partnering with a Technology function
  • A proactive, self-motivated problem solver
  • Effective communicator able to build strong relationships across all levels
  • Highly numerate
