At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], a specialist in managed Internet and smart building technology for multi-tenant buildings, we're looking for a Senior Tech Lead to be the technical backbone of our Design and Enable teams.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, high-impact position at the heart of how we design and deliver connectivity solutions for our clients. You'll be the go-to expert for our most complex sites and services, while also playing a key role in developing the engineers around you. From mentoring team members and leading technical workshops, to owning root-cause investigations and representing the team in client-facing settings, your work will shape the quality and consistency of everything we deliver. You'll sit across two closely connected teams, stepping in where your expertise has the greatest impact: resolving escalated issues, driving process improvements, and personally delivering our most technically demanding projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop Design and Enable Engineers through structured coaching, training and knowledge sharing
• Act as the single point of contact for complex or urgent technical escalations, coordinating resolution across teams
• Lead root-cause analysis on recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions
• Own the end-to-end design and delivery of non-standard, high-complexity or high-value sites and services
• Conduct technical reviews and validate non-standard designs prior to handoff
• Identify skill and process gaps, and drive improvements to documentation, standards and workflows
• Provide expert remote and on-site support for complex installations across switching, wireless, Linux and RouterOS
• Support the evaluation of new hardware, software and platforms through lab testing and pilot deployments

About You

You'll bring strong, hands-on experience in LAN and wireless network design, with a solid working knowledge of switching infrastructure, ZTP provisioning and Linux-based systems. You're just as comfortable explaining a complex technical concept to a non-technical stakeholder as you are diagnosing a tricky escalation under pressure. Essential experience includes: predictive wireless design software (Ekahau preferred), RouterOS platforms and network automation, a coaching mindset with a track record of developing others, and a structured approach to root-cause analysis and problem-solving. Desirable: Networking certifications (Huawei, Alcatel-Lucent, Cambium or equivalent), experience in MDU, PBSA or BTR environments, ISP or NOC background, and familiarity with enterprise wireless solutions such as Cisco, Aruba or Ruckus.
