HR Coordinator

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of our HR function. Working closely with the HR Manager, you'll support every stage of the employee lifecycle and play a meaningful part in how [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] delivers a great place to work. Based in Sheffield on a hybrid basis, this role offers 30 hours per week, with flexibility on pattern across 5 days, with a requirement of 2 days in the office each week.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing day-to-day HR administration across the employee lifecycle, onboarding, contractual changes and leavers
  • Managing the HR inbox and responding to employees and managers in a timely, professional way
  • Supporting monthly payroll processes — preparing, checking and inputting data including starters, leavers, hours changes and absence
  • Coordinating recruitment activity: posting vacancies, managing candidate communications and scheduling interviews
  • Administering the Learning Management System (LMS) — user setup, content uploads, completion tracking and reporting
  • Maintaining accurate employee records across HR systems, ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Producing HR reports and data to support business decision-making
  • Contributing to employee initiatives including wellbeing activities and DE&I events

About You

You'll bring:

  • Experience in an HR administration or coordination role
  • Strong attention to detail, you spot errors and fix them without being prompted
  • Confidence working with data and HR systems, including Excel
  • A professional, calm approach to managing a busy inbox and competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Experience supporting payroll processes, coordinating recruitment or administering an LMS would be a great bonus
