About the role

Our Legal & Compliance team exists to help the business move fast — with clarity, confidence, and the right level of risk. We see Legal as an enabler. This role sits at the heart of that mission as a Legal Counsel. You’ll work across the business on everything from commercial contracts and product launches to corporate transactions and compliance.

What you'll do

• Enable commercial velocity: Efficiently draft, review, and negotiate sales contracts.
• Provide pragmatic, business-first guidance to teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and People.
• Ensure global compliance across data protection, AI, employment, and corporate requirements.
• Support governance, equity, and fundraising including company secretarial duties.
• Simplify complexity and build for scale through processes and playbooks.

What you’ll bring

• Strong legal grounding: ~3 PQE UK-qualified lawyer with international experience.
• Startup or scale-up experience in a fast-moving tech company.
• Technical and AI fluency.
• Commercial instinct for SaaS agreements and negotiations.
• Generalist capability across data protection, employment, and corporate matters.
• Ownership mindset and bias for action.
• Clear and pragmatic communication.
