About The Role

In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching, contribute to curriculum planning and assessment, and play an active part in developing and strengthening the Economics provision across the school. You will track student progress closely, using assessment and feedback to inform your teaching and ensure strong outcomes for all learners. There will also be opportunities to contribute to enrichment activities and wider curriculum initiatives, helping to broaden students' engagement with the subject beyond the classroom.

What will you do?

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Economics lessons that support the progress, attainment and engagement of all students.
  • Use assessment, feedback and data effectively to monitor progress, set targets and adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs.
  • Create a safe, respectful and purposeful learning environment, maintaining high expectations of behaviour and safeguarding all pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external partners, contributing to curriculum development and the wider life of the school.
  • Uphold professional standards, engage in continuous development, and actively support the ethos and values of the school and trust.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols.

About You

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified to bachelor's degree level in relevant or allied subject
  • Able to self-start, work independently and collaboratively as part of a team- whether led or leading
  • Clear vision and understanding of how to implement and sustain a high-quality teaching and learning
  • Excellent skills in the use and application of technology
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
