Project Management Officer (12 Month FTC)
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a junior but proactive Project Management Officer (12 Month FTC) to support our Business Leads and Project Managers on the delivery of some of our key compliance-related projects across the organisation. As a Junior PMO, you will work as part of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] UK change team and be responsible for ensuring the right standards, processes, policies, training, tooling and reporting are in place to drive a successful delivery.
Location: The Quadrangle, 106-118 Station Road, REDHILL, GB, RH1 1PR
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE
Job Type: Fixed-term contract (12 months), Full-time
- Support programme sponsor, director and Project Managers in ensuring Regulatory Change Programmes are delivered in line with agreed [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] UK project governance frameworks
- Lead production of materials for Steering groups, including Design Authority committee and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] UK Change Board
- Standardise processes and tools for consistent quality across projects
- Manage reporting capability, data quality assurance, and programme reporting
- Maintain register of risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies; track actions and mitigation
- Document and report actions, findings, corrective actions; minutes taking
- Create/deliver training to aid development and transfer of skills
- Update project/programme plans, track milestones, highlight deviations
- Support set-up for audits and manage stakeholder updates
- Escalate issues as necessary for timely resolution
- Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
What You'll Bring
- Project Management competence, ideally within insurance, assistance or financial services
- Delivery focused with strong drive and ability to work independently
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, reporting and MI development
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Inquisitive and challenging to ensure robustness of output
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Time management skills to deliver against tight deadlines
- Hands-on approach with focus on meeting deadlines
