Job overview: You’ll ensure [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s propositions remain future fit, differentiated and strategically aligned. You’ll turn emerging insight and innovation into a clear, prioritised proposition pipeline.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead development and ongoing evolution of the Proposition strategy, aligned to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and departmental objectives.
- Define clear strategic themes, targeting customer needs and areas of focus for proposition development.
- Challenge existing propositions with forward looking insight and evidence.
- Own management information (MI) requirements for business cases and proposition strategy.
- Scan and synthesise insights across customer behaviour, market, regulatory, healthcare and technology trends.
- Translate emerging trends into credible proposition concepts and hypotheses.
- Discover and shape innovation opportunities across products, services, care models and partnerships.
- Work collaboratively with Distribution & Strategic Marketing to craft market position statements.
Work arrangements: At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future.
Your skills & experience:
- Senior experience in propositions, strategy, innovation, product or market insight within health insurance, healthcare or regulated financial services is essential.
- Proven track record of developing and influencing business strategy is needed.
- Experience shaping innovation pipelines, roadmaps or portfolios.
- Strong understanding of regulated environments and customer outcome expectations.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesise complex signals into clear direction.
- Commercial and customer judgement.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills, able to influence senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and early stage concepts.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
