Hours: Monday-Friday, 07:00 start + occasional Saturdays during peak
Pay Rate: £17 per hour PAYE (holiday pay accrued)

What the role involves

  • Completing 5-10 home deliveries per shift, transporting bulk items safely and efficiently
  • Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle to deliver products directly from Wickes stores to customers' homes
  • Following all health & safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Delivering excellent customer service at every drop
  • Flexibility with start times to meet operational requirements
  • Working from your base store while covering deliveries across nearby areas and partner stores

What you'll need

  • A full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC
  • A current HIAB licence - ALLMI C5
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in customer‑facing situations
  • A positive, adaptable approach and the ability to work independently
  • Good timekeeping and reliability
  • Willingness to complete a DBS check as part of the onboarding process
