About the Role

We're searching for confident, charismatic personalities who can captivate an audience and bring the magic of gin to life. As a host at one of the UK's standout regional tourist destinations, you'll guide visitors on an immersive journey through botanicals, flavours, and the craft behind every premium gin. This is more than a tour - it's live storytelling, sensory theatre, and guest experience excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests like stars arriving for their daily events tour - warm, inviting, energetic.
  • Highlight events and promotions with enthusiasm that builds anticipation.
  • Offer clear guidance to help guests explore the distillery with confidence.
  • Lead captivating tours that weave aroma, flavour, and history into an unforgettable narrative.
  • Adapt your delivery for any crowd - lively tourists, curious families, or exclusive VIP groups.
  • Bring the botanicals to life: the citrus spark, the juniper punch, the warming depth of spice.
  • Help refine the guest experience by sharing audience reactions and ideas with the team.
  • Hit performance targets through engaging, memorable delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain immaculate public areas to set the perfect backdrop.
  • Assist with events and group arrivals to keep the flow smooth and professional.
  • Coordinate closely with teammates to ensure effortless transitions throughout the day.
  • Share availability clearly and bring consistent energy and passion.
  • Lead by example through service excellence and genuine passion for guest experiences.
  • Follow policies to always keep guests and colleagues safe.
  • Respond quickly and professionally if issues arise, maintaining a reassuring presence.

Requirements

This is a Saturday position, working 10:00 - 22:00. Some special events may require late finishes up to 02:00. Due to the hours, access to your own transport is essential. We're looking for a natural performer, a confident storyteller, someone who can turn the craft of gin-making into a sensory, exciting, and unforgettable experience.
