Relief Chefs - Telford

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Stoke on Trent are looking for experienced chefs up to CDP level to support clients within Stafford, Telford, Shropshire and Stoke on Trent areas. You will work in leisure, hospitality, national sports centres, events businesses & hotels, providing food for conferences and banqueting events.

Working times and shifts

Shifts range from 6/7am till 2/3pm or 11am till 8pm across a 7-day period including weekends. Full-time 39 hours/week.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard
• Working within a team of chefs and reporting to the sous/head chef
• Cleaning down the kitchen, maintaining a clean-as-you-go policy
• Adhering to all food and health and safety regulations
• Completing all paperwork and due diligence
• Working and running your own section for food service

Requirements and skills

• Previous experience as a chef, at least up to senior chef de partie
• Flexibility in rotas – must be able to pick up extra shifts
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Level 2 food hygiene certificate (ideal but not essential)
• Passion for food
• Ability to work under pressure
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Own chef whites and chef knives
