FULL DESCRIPTION

School Cleaners PM Shifts Out of School

School Cleaner - Afternoon Shift | Enhanced DBS Required. We are currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to work within a local education setting. This is a key role ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students and staff.

Hours of Work

3-4 hours per day
Monday to Friday
Shift time: 15:00 - 19:00 (fixed, not flexible)

Key Responsibilities

General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
Wiping down desks, surfaces, and high-touch areas
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
Cleaning toilet and washroom facilities to a high standard
Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
Ensuring cleaning equipment and products are used safely

Requirements

Enhanced DBS certificate (essential)
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
Awareness of health and safety in a school environment
