Job Description

Chef - Pay rate £16.00 - £19.00 per hour

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Cook and prepare high quality dishes.
Always maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Ensure food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created.

Essential Requirements

Enhanced Adult DBS or willing to apply for a new enhanced DBS - we can support with the application.
Health and safety and food hygiene certificates
Minimum 1 years' relevant experience
Awareness of manual handling techniques
Competent level of English spoken and written

Desirable Qualifications

City & Guilds 706/1 or 706/2 Catering
NVQ Level 2 in cookery
Level 3 Food Safety Awards
Modern Apprenticeship route in cooking
City & Guilds diplomas in professional cookery
BTEC HND in professional cookery
A foundation degree in culinary arts
