As a Trainee Solicitor at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will embark on a comprehensive two-year training programme designed to provide broad exposure to various legal practice areas. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases, engage with clients, and contribute to the firm's success while preparing for qualification as a solicitor.

Eligibility & Requirements

We seek candidates with strong academic foundations, exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, practical judgement, and motivation. Whether completing postgraduate studies by September 2026, applicants from all academic backgrounds are welcome who meet the following:

  • A completed law degree (LLB or equivalent), or a non-law degree with a minimum 2:1 classification
  • Successfully completed one of the following routes, in accordance with SRA standards: the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and eligibility to qualify under transitional arrangements without SQE, or SQE 1 and SQE 2 with passing results prior to September start date

Application Process

Applications open 1 November 2025 and close 31 January 2026. First-round HR screen via Zoom (mid-February, interviews early March). Second-round in-office competency interview and presentation (early April). Final round with partner panel (late April to early May). Offers extended in May 2026.

Compensation & Benefits

Trainees receive a starting salary of £45,000 rising to £50,000 in their second year (reviewed annually). Newly qualified solicitors start at £123,000.
