We are a specialist property investment, development & property management company providing luxury accommodation for both residential and commercial needs.
Role Overview
The primary purpose is to build upon our current investment platform, its management capability and reputation, and to grow its current assets and portfolio of funds to sustain network growth and impact. You will work closely with the Finance & Administration function and Project Development Director. The role reports to the Managing Director and is part of the Executive Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy: Provide financial models for forecasting/testing the robustness of investment strategy.
- Treasury: Manage treasury to ensure capital adequacy and monitor/manage risks.
- Investment: Devise investment strategies, undertake due diligence, monitor loan/investment performance, analyse investments, and manage investor relationships.
- Development: Develop processes and data systems for effective analysis and decision-making; refine investment facilities.
- Fundraising: Develop new investment products and support marketing initiatives to secure investment.
- Leadership: Develop and inspire a team, ensuring all team members represent [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in the best light.
Person Specification
Essential qualifications include an MBA or similar advanced degree in a related field, Financial Services Authority registration/accreditation, consolidated experience in Investment Management/Treasury Management or senior Investment Analyst role, extensive knowledge of alternative finance market, excellent financial modelling skills, and strong negotiation skills. Preferred experience includes real estate investment and frontier markets. Desirable experience includes working with foundations and grant-making organisations, knowledge of emerging economies, and Treasury Management Systems.
Compensation Package
- Salary: Competitive, negotiable depending on experience
- Location: Bradford
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
- Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
- TOIL policy for overseas travel
- Pension: Company pension scheme available
- Contract: Permanent
