FULL DESCRIPTION

Research Engineer

  • Department: Model-Based Engineering
  • Reporting to: Head of Engineering
  • Employment: Permanent
  • Hours: Full-Time (37 hours a week)

The Research Engineer will work to develop, implement and test numerical models. They will engage with prospective and existing customers, contributing to bids and project scoping. They will contribute to the development of new algorithms, methods, and tools to address engineering and simulation challenges, as well as deliver project reports and presentations. You will have knowledge and awareness of modelling and simulation tools and methodologies, experience collaborating with clients, leading technical and non-technical discussions, and translating customer requirements into viable project plans. You will also have knowledge of programming and experience in writing numerical simulations in code.
