About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], Swindon on a part-time basis in a dedicated consulting nurse role.
Shaw Veterinary Centre is a friendly, first-opinion small animal practice caring for the pets of Swindon. Our clinic is equipped with modern facilities including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and a fully equipped theatre, allowing us to provide a high standard of care to our patients.
You’ll be part of a welcoming and collaborative team that values professional development, patient welfare, and high clinical standards. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a consulting-focused position, working closely with clients and patients while making a real impact on preventative healthcare and ongoing wellbeing.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
- Run nurse-led clinics, promoting preventative healthcare and patient wellbeing
- Provide clear and compassionate client communication and education
- Deliver high standards of nursing care and support patient outcomes
- Assist the clinical team as needed with general nursing duties
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
- A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
