This role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys clinical excellence alongside client interaction.

Hospital and Procedure Nursing

  • Support high-quality patient care across anaesthesia, inpatient care, diagnostics, imaging and procedures.
  • Perform Schedule 3 procedures under veterinary direction.
  • Work with advanced diagnostic equipment: digital X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring and in-house laboratory diagnostics.
  • Contribute to stock control, equipment maintenance and efficient clinical workflows.

First Opinion Nursing and Consulting

  • Deliver nurse-led consultations including wellness and preventative healthcare, chronic illness management, weight management, senior pet clinics, dental health and post-operative care.
  • Build strong client relationships and take ownership of patient care.

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a purpose-built, modern referral hospital with exceptional facilities including 13 consultation rooms, 7 hospital wards, 5 theatres, advanced imaging suite (CT, MRI, digital X-ray), 3 ultrasound rooms, endoscopy suite, hydrotherapy pool and treadmills, and dedicated chemotherapy treatment rooms. You will join a large, friendly and highly skilled nursing and veterinary team.

Hours and Rota

Full-time, 38 hours per week over 4 days, shifts between 8:00am and 7:00pm. 1 in 4 Saturday clinic shift (8:30am to 6:00pm) and bank holiday on-call rota (1-2 per year).
