Role Details

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], Hitchin, is looking for a friendly and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive and experienced team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of treatments and procedures while being part of a fun, professional environment.

As an RVN at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you’ll be involved in a variety of nursing duties including patient care, nurse clinics, theatre work, and supporting a wide range of treatments and procedures. Our nurses are encouraged to use their full potential and make the most of the advanced equipment available, including laparoscopy, digital x-ray (including dental), multiparameter monitoring, and Phovia.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Shift patterns: 7:30–16:00, 8:00–16:30, 10:00–18:30, with occasional duty shifts 15:00–21:45
  • Weekends 1 in 7: 9:00–15:00 and 8:30–12:30
  • No out-of-hours calls; reception staff cover opening hours
