About the Role

Following a recent change within our senior team, we are interested in hearing from vets who have an interest in leadership, mentoring and practice development. There will be opportunities to become involved in the clinical and operational development of the practice, including supporting colleagues, contributing to clinical standards and helping shape the future direction of the team.

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is the UK and Europe’s leading veterinary care group, made up of over 900 practices and referral hospitals, united by a shared purpose of happier animals, happier owners.

At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], we believe careers should be built without limits. Our people are supported to make more clinical impact, access more career opportunities, and play an active role in their local and professional communities. Through investment in learning, innovation, and wellbeing, we create environments where our teams can grow in confidence, capability, and fulfilment—at every stage of their career.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

We have a longstanding team with a wealth of knowledge who put pet care at the heart of everything we do, with 4.5 vets supported by 6 RVN's and 2 SVN's, a clinical coach and a full reception team.

Our nurses are highly experienced with multiple certificates between them; they are a huge support to the veterinary team. You will have clinical freedom with a varied caseload, and opportunities to specialise - whether that’s studying for a certificate, offering specialist services, or advancing your surgical expertise.

Our vets work a 4-day working week. Saturdays (8am-2pm) are equally shared 2 in 6. This equates to a 40-hour working week. No OOH, bank holidays or Sundays.
