Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

Barrow Hill Veterinary Hospital, Ashford, South East | Full Time, Part Time, Flexible | Up to £75,000 DOE

The Role

Calling all passionate experienced small animal vets! Are you ready for an exciting opportunity? Excellent facilities and equipment with an onsite CT scanner, laparoscopy, ultrasound and endoscopy. No OOH or on call.

Join a group of 9 skilled Veterinary Surgeons and 11 RVNs, one SVN and an ANA. We also have a supportive client care team as well as a dedicated insurance processor and bookings clerk. Visiting specialists available in orthopaedics, cardiology and ophthalmology and three of our vets hold AVP certificates.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues.

  • Our vets typically work 40 hours spread across 4 days, with one regular day off each week.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
