We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], Thornbury on a part-time basis for a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

This provides a great balance of first opinion practice work alongside the opportunity to gain experience within a higher caseload hospital environment.

How You’ll Make a Difference

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload
• Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
• Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
• Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
