Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Referrals on a part-time basis.
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Referrals is a long-standing, multidisciplinary referral hospital based in North Bristol, offering expertise across soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, neurology, cardiology, dentistry, behaviour, and diagnostic imaging. We are proud to deliver outstanding patient and client care within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Our hospital is equipped with advanced facilities including MRI, CT, endoscopy, ultrasonography, an on-site laboratory, and specialist ophthalmology equipment. You’ll be working alongside a highly experienced team of clinicians, RVNs, and support staff, gaining exposure to a varied and complex caseload within a true referral setting.

How You’ll Make a Difference
- Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied referral caseload
- Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
- Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
- Work collaboratively across multiple specialist disciplines within the hospital
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- A strong interest in referral nursing, with experience in this area desirable
- Confidence in medical and surgical nursing within a clinical setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
