Plus Relocation Allowance of up to £4000 and Welcome Bonus of up to £3000
About the Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], based in Leighton Buzzard, is looking for a confident and friendly Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive team. You'll enjoy a varied caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries, and occasional exotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Balance of consults and surgeries (spays, castrates, lumpectomies, dentals, ECC)
- Confidence in sole charge when needed, supported by experienced nursing team
- Use modern equipment: X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, flexible endoscope
- Participate in 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:30-1:00, sole charge) with no out-of-hours

About the Practice
Our single-site practice is a converted house in the town centre, currently being renovated. Features include four consult rooms, separate cat and dog wards, dedicated dental suite, X-ray room, full IDEXX lab, and comfortable staff area. We have a friendly team of two vets, seven RVNs, and five client care staff, plus visiting specialists in cardiology, diagnostics, soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics.
