About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse or 2nd year student to join our team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] on a full-time basis.

As a mixed animal practice with a strong focus on exotics, our spacious hospital is located on the outskirts of Morpeth, Northumberland. We also have 7 branch surgeries across the region. Our award-winning, purpose-built hospital is fully equipped with 4 theatres, separate dental, imaging, and radiography suites, individual wards for cats, dogs, exotics, and small mammals, a hydrotherapy treatment room, and facilities for equine and farm animal hospitalisation.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week across 5 days with a share of weekend and optional out of hours shifts (additional pay available for those participating in the OOH rota). We are open to discussing part-time working options to suit you.

General responsibilities include:

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
