Part Time Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

You'll be joining our site in Cardigan, however all our practices are RCVS GP-accredited and pride themselves on delivering high standards of care while maintaining a collaborative and friendly working environment. With a strong emphasis on clinical freedom, the team encourages vets to pursue their individual interests, while benefiting from a genuinely healthy work-life balance, including no out-of-hours commitments.

The Team & Practice

  • 9 Veterinary Surgeons with expertise in orthopaedics, keyhole surgery, ultrasound, and dental radiography
  • 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses, including a CertECC holder
  • 11 Support Staff, including VCAs and client care advisors
  • Well equipped with digital x-ray and dental x-ray

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice.

  • We're looking for a Vet to join us 32 hours per week
  • We're flexible! We're happy to discuss hours to suit your commitments
  • No out-of-hours or on-call work
  • 1:4 Saturday until 3pm (1 full day of TOIL in lieu of this)
  • Shifts either 8:30 - 5:30 or 9:30 - 6:30 shared between all other vets on a rota schedule

  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
