Part Time Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

You'll be joining our site in Cardigan, however all our practices are RCVS GP-accredited and pride themselves on delivering high standards of care while maintaining a collaborative and friendly working environment. With a strong emphasis on clinical freedom, the team encourages vets to pursue their individual interests, while benefiting from a genuinely healthy work-life balance, including no out-of-hours commitments.
The Team & Practice
- 9 Veterinary Surgeons with expertise in orthopaedics, keyhole surgery, ultrasound, and dental radiography
- 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses, including a CertECC holder
- 11 Support Staff, including VCAs and client care advisors
- Well equipped with digital x-ray and dental x-ray
- Ultrasound
- In-house laboratories

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice.
- We're looking for a Vet to join us 32 hours per week
- We're flexible! We're happy to discuss hours to suit your commitments
- No out-of-hours or on-call work
- 1:4 Saturday until 3pm (1 full day of TOIL in lieu of this)
- Shifts either 8:30 - 5:30 or 9:30 - 6:30 shared between all other vets on a rota schedule

You are a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:
- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Salary up to £60,000 FTE DOE | Relocation allowance up to £5,000
