Role Details
As part of our out-of-hours service, you will provide gold-standard emergency and critical care for our own clients as well as a number of local practices. You will be confident in working independently while collaborating closely with our skilled veterinary surgeons. This is a busy, varied role where no two nights are the same, giving you the opportunity to utilise and develop your nursing skills to their fullest.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time 13-month fixed-term contract, night shift position of 46.5 hours per week, working 5 nights on followed by 5 nights off.
- Monday to Thursday: 6:45 PM – 7:45 AM
- Friday: 6:45 PM – 8:00 AM
- Saturday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Sunday: 6:00 PM – 7:45 AM

Our dedicated night team works closely with our day teams and referring practices, creating a collaborative environment where every member’s skills and input are valued.

- Experience or a strong interest in emergency and critical care
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, organised approach
- Confidence in handling a varied and often unpredictable caseload
