Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in Backworth, North East. This role offers up to £65,000 DOE with a £5,000 relocation allowance.
About the Practice
Moorview Vets is a high-quality first opinion, multi-site practice operating across five sites, including a main hospital, consult-only branches, and a dedicated dental facility. Facilities include CT, digital radiography, dental imaging, laparoscopy, endoscopy, and Doppler ultrasound. The team includes certificate holders in medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, and cardiology, with strong links to Moorview Referral Centre.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing consultations, diagnostics, and treatment plans across a varied caseload
- Performing routine surgical procedures and contributing to advanced case work-ups
- Working collaboratively across a multi-site practice with strong clinical support
- Engaging in case discussions and contributing to clinical decision-making
- Supporting continuity of care across hospital and branch sites
- Developing your own clinical interests within a supportive environment
Working Pattern
Full-time role: 40 hours per week over 4 days. 1 in 6 Saturday rota (within contracted hours). No out-of-hours commitment. Flexible and part-time options available.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...
