About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] on a full-time, 12 month contract basis.

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a long established, single site small animal practice in Alexandria with a reputation for the highest standard of care for our patients. It is close to the beauty of Loch Lomond National Park but also commutable from Glasgow and Stirling. We have Cat Friendly Silver status and have achieved GP in Practice Standards Scheme.

We are 'small but mighty' with 3 consulting rooms, dedicated theatre, fully equipped lab, digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter, laser and acupuncture but our best asset is our fantastic team of vets, nurses and reception. We currently have 3 RVNs (two of which are certificate holders), 1 SVN and a VCA and are looking for someone to join us for a year while our Head Nurse is on maternity leave. We have 5 vets, 2 currently studying towards certificates in surgery and cardiology. We have a friendly team who believe in having fun and supporting each other and we welcome new ideas, always forward thinking in ways to provide the best possible care for our patients.

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is the UK and Europe’s leading veterinary care group, made up of over 900 practices and referral hospitals, united by a shared purpose of happier animals, happier owners.

At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], we believe careers should be built without limits. Our people are supported to make more clinical impact, access more career opportunities, and play an active role in their local and professional communities. Through investment in learning, innovation, and wellbeing, we create environments where our teams can grow in confidence, capability, and fulfilment—at every stage of their career.
