About the Practice
The practice features modern, air-conditioned facilities including a spacious reception area, five consulting rooms, two theatres, a prep and recovery area, isolation facilities, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, and a dedicated laboratory. Situated on the scenic banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal marina.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients
- Support excellent client experiences
- Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and practice team
- Take responsibility for nursing care of first opinion cases
- Contribute to clinical standards and patient care development
Work Schedule
Full-time based on a five-day workweek. Shifts alternate between 8:30am–4:30pm and 10:30am–6:30pm. One in five Saturday morning shifts 8:30am to 12:30pm.
Requirements
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively
- Proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
