Registered Veterinary Nurse - Exotics

Type: Full Time (27 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 1 in 3 Saturday rota)
Salary: DOE
We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] on a part-time basis, with opportunities to increase to full-time hours across other Manor sites.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a varied role working between our exotics branch and other small animal sites, offering a unique opportunity to develop your skills in exotic species alongside a diverse first opinion caseload. You will be involved in all aspects of nursing including inpatient care, anaesthesia, surgery, and consultations.
- Deliver high standards of nursing care across both small animal and exotic caseloads
- Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
- Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
- Assist with consultations and client communication

- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
