Registered Veterinary Nurse

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within a flexible rota pattern between 8:00AM and 7:00PM. The role also includes participation in a 2 in 9 Saturday rota, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no out-of-hours or on-call duties, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We will also accept part-time applications.

General responsibilities include:

  • Nurse consultations
  • Pharmacy
  • Performing radiography including dental x-rays
  • General inpatient care
  • Assisting with theatre and surgical procedures
