Commercial Data & Reporting Lead – 8 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a Commercial Data & Insights Manager to support the delivery of key global reporting and analytics initiatives across our international veterinary business. This role sits within the Group Commercial Finance team and will focus on driving the development, implementation, and adoption of customer performance reporting and price-volume-mix analytics across multiple markets.
The role is highly cross-functional, requiring strong coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills to deliver high-impact reporting in a complex data environment.
This role is initially being offered on an 8-month Fixed Term Contract basis.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Price Volume Mix Analytics: Drive the ongoing development of PVM (Price-Volume-Mix) reporting across the business; coordinate with IT and data teams to source and structure fragmented data; make pragmatic decisions on data quality and usability to enable timely reporting; identify gaps, define next steps, and maintain momentum across the project.
- Customer Metric Reporting: Lead the delivery of global customer KPI reporting in Power BI in collaboration with data and BI teams; translate business requirements into clear reporting outputs and ensure alignment with global KPI definitions; partner with market teams to support adoption of reporting into weekly and monthly performance routines; coordinate with selected markets to develop enhanced local reporting, ensuring consistency with global standards; define and maintain detailed KPI definitions and governance.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with finance, marketing, operations, data teams, and regional stakeholders; coordinate multiple contributors across markets to ensure alignment and delivery; lead change management efforts to embed reporting into business processes; communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Reporting & Deliverables: Produce regular reporting outputs using Power BI and Excel; develop clear and insightful PowerPoint materials for weekly and monthly performance reviews; ensure reporting is accurate, actionable, and aligned with business needs.
Experience/Qualifications
- Essential: Strong numerical and analytical skills; Advanced Excel and solid Power BI (or equivalent BI tool) experience; Experience working with complex, fragmented datasets; Proven ability to coordinate projects and drive delivery across multiple stakeholders; Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, solution-focused mindset; Ability to work independently and maintain momentum in ambiguous environments.
- Desirable: Experience in commercial, financial, or operational reporting environments; Understanding of how data flows across systems (non-technical); Experience with KPI definition and data; Highly organised with strong delivery focus; Comfortable working through ambiguity and data challenges; Proactive and resilient, with the ability to overcome obstacles; Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy awareness; Curious and inquisitive, with a willingness to challenge and ask questions.
