Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

The Rota
We aim to create a varied and fulfilling working day for our team. Your responsibilities will include a balance of consultations, routine and occasional surgical procedures, client communication and call backs, inpatient care and diagnostic workups. The role is ideally 4 or 5 days per week, with shifts typically running between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, plus participation in our Saturday rota (8:00 am – 12:00 pm), usually 1 in 4. We're happy to discuss flexible working patterns.
The Role
This position is ideal for an experienced GP vet who wants to stay grounded in first-opinion work while benefitting from the facilities and caseload of a hospital setting. Responsibilities include first-opinion consultations, inpatient care, diagnostic workups including imaging. The role is predominantly hospital-based, with branch cover. The practice is well-equipped with digital X-ray, diagnostic ultrasound, endoscopy and in-house laboratory.
