An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team here at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] on a Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover).

Our main site is based in Midhurst and we have three smaller branches within a 9 mile radius. We are situated in the beautiful South Downs, a stone's throw away from the coast and London. Our main branch has recently had our kennels refurbished with separate dog and cat wards.

State of the art equipment

We have digital x-ray, dental x-ray, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring machine, blood pressure doppler, microscope, in-house biochemistry and haematology blood machines, ultrasound with cardiac and abdominal probe, laser, ECG, endoscope, and tonometer.

What we offer

This is a Full Time or Part Time position with flexibility over working days/hours. A mixture of consulting and surgery with some sole charge. Typical shifts 8am-6pm, 8.30am-6.30pm, or 9am-7pm with no OOH. Saturdays mornings on a rota of 1:5. 15-minute consultations for routine appointments and 30-minute consultations for complex cases.

Our supportive team

We have an amazing team of 7 Vets, 7 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 2 VCAs, and receptionists. Vets working towards certificates in small animal surgery and dentistry. We encourage our vets to pursue their passions.
