About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] on a full-time basis. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is located in a lovely residential area in Wigmore, Rainham, Kent. The practice is very busy, with something to keep you on your toes every day. Due to the practice's busy nature, we also offer excellent clinical exposure. The surgery is well-equipped, including an in-house blood machine and digital X-ray machines. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases. You will work 4 days across Monday-Friday, between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm, with Saturday mornings on rota 2:4.

  • Assisting with surgeries and anaesthesia
  • Ultrasounds, xray
  • Lab work
  • Dental care
  • Inpatient care
  • Client communication
  • Triage - working under the instruction of a vet, contacting clients, working on the emergency line, meds and follow-up consults, blood results and reporting

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
  • A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
