Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Veterinary Surgeon for Island Vets - Wombourne, West Midlands. Permanent, full-time/part-time, flexible role with a salary up to £68,000 (DOE).

About the Role

The new leadership team at Island Veterinary are on the look out for a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll be based between our Wombourne & Gornal sites. We’re keen to support your by tailoring the caseload to your own specific clinical interests. This role would be ideal for someone with a surgical bias. We’re keen to offer full certificate support as well. There’s also a relocation allowance of up to £5000 for candidates that require it, along with a welcome bonus of £5000 (pro rata).

Rota Patterns

Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, that’s why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. Ideally, we’re looking for someone to work 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1:4 Saturdays (time in lieu given back). There’s no out of hours or on call required. We can support part time applicants as well.

About the Practice

We are a friendly team that works well together. Our fantastic team is composed of 4 Vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs. The practice offers access an excellent array of kit that includes Idexx Laboratory equipment, top spec ultrasound etc.
