Registered Veterinary Nurse - 12-months Fixed Term Contract

Highcliff Veterinary Practice, Brantham, East of England – Full Time – Up to £31,500 DOE

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] on a full-time basis. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, lasting 12 months.

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a long-established, yet progressive practice based in Brantham, near the market town of Manningtree, in the heart of Constable Country. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to the historic coastline, we also benefit from excellent links to London. The practice overlooks the estuary, offering a genuinely lovely setting to work in.

You’ll be joining a friendly, close-knit team at our Brantham site, working alongside a Clinical Director, Lead Vet, four FTE vets, a Head Nurse, and six FTE Registered Veterinary Nurses. With a roving vet, new team members joining, and continued growth, it’s an exciting time to join the practice.

How You’ll Make a Difference

  • Nurse clinics – diet, diabetes
  • General duties – nail clipping, anal glands
  • Occasional float duties
  • Assisting with operations
  • Inpatient care
  • Dental procedures

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
